I've engraved over 500 items with this laser already and never had this issue on it until a few months ago. This started a while ago and I've been trying to fix it for a month or two now. That is what happens when the laser jams. All those dots forming horizontal lines and random vertical lines and misplaced letters. In the picture with the wood you can see a white circle going around the problem area. The only thing I changed was the speed down to 350. I took out the piece of cardboard and put in a piece of wood. So the first picture with a clear red "M" outlining the names on the cardboard was done at speed of 500 with no issues. I'm new to reddit so I'm not sure how to add images/videos to comments This is stressing me out so badly, I bought this machine to make custom items to sell and I don't know what to do to get it working correctly. Then it starts getting worse around 1:20. On the vertical line of the "D" you can see the line is being engraved in slightly different spots. It's supposed to be putting a "D" right next to it. You can see a finished "a" on the wood from a previous run. If you watch the video you can hear that it's dragging. When I have it run at the fastest speed, 500, it doesn't jam up at all but I don't want to run everything at 500. It jams up at different spots depending on the speed I currently have it running at. I tried greasing everything but it didn't help. Recently it started jamming up during the engraving/cutting process. Hello, I am in serious need of assistance with my 60w Chinese laser machine.
